Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the world.
Chinese doubles star Fu Haifeng has clocked the fastest smash of 332 kph (that's 206mph), while world number two Kenneth Jonassen of Denmark has recorded the fastest smash for a singles player at 298 kph (May 2005)

Sarah Milne - Player of The Month September 2010

Eighteen-year-old Sarah Milne competed in the Youth Olympics last month as the only British player to represent badminton. She surpassed her eighth seeded position by leaving the tournament in fourth place, just missing out on the bronze medal in the third-place play-off.
